How many times I could relive this moment
Could not be counted
on fingers or toes

I tried to write a poem all about it
The way you linger
On all of my clothes

Inside of me I feel the waves rise up

Down the corridor I hear your voice shouting out how much you truly love me
I wake up I’m drenched in an ice cold sweat, The alarm clock keeps blinking so incessantly
I feel the earth as it begins to quake, Underneath my feet that I so surely placed
Right where I thought would be the safest bet, now I know that there really isn’t such a thing

I wanna take your heart
and drain out all of your blood
Fill up my drinking jar
My ritualistic love

My state of mind can’t be saved
This story’s really starting to take shape
Are you forming conclusions
Or will you wait for the ending to come

I add it all up into one lump sum
She haunts me morning til the setting sun
